Amawele operates a schools twinning programme and an annual sustainable food garden project in South Africa.
Through our offices in Dublin, Ireland and Capetown, South Africa, we work with global partners to deliver our programmes.
As part of our education programme we have 87 twinned schools across both countries. The purpose of twinning is to encourage students to engage in development education and explore cultural differences. We have also conducted four food garden missions to schools in South Africa since our establishment which now provide food for over 1,800 South African students on a sustainable basis all year round!
